So as some of you may know my husband is going through stage 5 (end stage) renal failure and is in need of a kidney transplant. Well the hospital found a match and after some more tests they've said the blood is compatible and his op should be at the beginning of March. I'm both relieved and terrified. I'm so scared I'm going to lose him (not just during the op but after as he'll be susceptible to infections) I just feel like crying all the time, I'm finding it hard to find the motivation to do anything and I'm so stressed.

I felt the same thing during my friends cancer treatment. I didn't think he would live and neither did him or the doctors (he had stage 4 brain cancer). Everyone just gave up hope and wondered how to say goodbye. He lived and it is purely because of modern medicine, it really does wonders. So just understand that he will be okay and these doctors really know how to save lives. And also we are all here for you.

Thank you @sheeby78 I love how wonderful modern medicine is, this isn't his first transplant (it's his third) so I know how amazing Doctors and Surgeons are, if it wasn't for them he would not be around today. Thank you so much. X
