I think it's because shy girls are harder to get to know, and it seems impossible to get a feel for their personality, so guys can't really tell if we'd be an interesting person or their "type"

Why can't I find any plane tickets to In My Dreams? Do you guys know any airlines that get there? Someone told me unicorns is the only means of transportation to In My Dreams and I happen to be allergic so that won't work.

A lot of people have trouble seeing mentally disabled people as actual people. They have hopes and dreams. They have emotions. They care about other people. At my school, I work with kids like that and help them learn every day. They are some if the most hardworking people I've ever known. Another thing people don't understand is how hard it is. These kids watch people learn in five minutes what might take them five monthes to fully comprehend. Most of all, they are courageous and brave.

I totally get that. I'm a pretty confident person overall, and I try to be really nice to people and just be happy and enjoy life. BUT I CANNOT CONTROL MY JEALOUSY. Seriously if I could change one thing about myself, it would be my jealousy or my lisp.

You people are just fabulous. It's still. Really. Awkward. Probably because we have a lot of classes together and our lockers are near each other. And there's still like a pinch of flirtation so it's reallllly awkward. Plus I'm friends with the girl he likes now. But reading your comments really made me feel a lot better. :)

Bravery is about facing the world even though you may be a little scared. Bravery is accepting tough changes in your life, and making the most of it. Whether you're a 30 year old army veteran, or just a girl half that age, you CAN be brave. Just don't ruin your chances to be able to look yourself in the mirror and feel proud.
