And finally it bothers me that you always worry about bothering me. I have to reaffirm you're not bothering me over and over again, and in the end that's the only thing that bothers me. I can't always be the person who satisfies your insatiable demand for self-affirmation. I like you as a person and at some point I'd like you to accept that, even if you're insecure in general. We hung out several times now. Voluntarily. So there has to be something I like about you. (Clue: It's not the insecurity.) Please start thinking about that. Love, a non-native speaker

Like I said, I get the point. But I don't understand how there can be so much "joy" over having a singer "unmasked", as if she was the hypocrite of the year. In so many comments there's this subtle taste of moral supremacy which is just wrong and not less fake. "It's funny because he's fat", oh that's cool, calling a fat woman a "walrus", that's harmless, but one "photoshopped skinny bitch" - how dare you. Even if - that's what I think - the singer doesn't refer to all the nice thin girls but rather just alludes to the minimumbodyweight-thighgap-hunger-trend. That's not hard to notice in this context, well, unless you just like to bristle at anything.
And please remember: It's a song, not a manifest.

Thank you very much! I often fear that people just think "What is that person trying to tell me?" because I have to look up several words and the comma placement & tenses sometimes unsettle me. I think this is the first feedback I got about my English since I left school (almost four years ago), so again, really: Thank you.

Wow. I get the point but I don't get the dimension of the dismay many people feel.
In so many music videos that contain sexy stuff the women are skinny "bitches" and "hoes", seductively dancing and twerking around the men who have laid them all, licking ice cream like a dick while wearing prostitute outfits.
And just because there are no explicit insults to fat women it's at least not as bad as that song. But have you ever considered that it's already a clear sign, a silent but obvious message that chubby women just get excluded from the "sexy zone" so often? You don't always have to vocalize something, an attitude can be seen in the behaviour.
Beyond that it's actually funny that make-up & bodyshaper are criticized but no one complains about seeing no armpit hair or stretch marks. I guess that would be *too* natural. And I can easily imagine how many mean posts would be created if she would have really shown herself completely natural.
(Sorry for mistakes, non-native speaker here.)

That one Star Wars scene looks like a class warming up in PE... or people trying to figure out how to dance with lightsabers

I think it is... in the world of imagination where one goes through awkward situations and gives them better endings.

Except for the nutella jar. Just love this glass, filled with ambrosial, delicious chocolate-hazelnut cream that satifies me every time. Always have to smell it before I spread it onto bread. Wonderful.
