If a child did this to another child, it would be considered bullying, so what makes it ok for an adult to do the same thing to a child? If anything, it's worse because adults are supposed to be role models for children.

There are certainly many teachers out there who focus on "drilling" information into students, but there are many teachers out there who actually try to prepare students for life outside the classroom.

Math has no use in every day life?! Baking, medication preparation, formula preparation, grocery shopping, budgeting, carpeting, etc. SMH

I'm *allowed* (not "aloud") to refer to my notes, planner, etc. at my job and it's not considered cheating. It's real life. We're allowed calculators, computers, etc. in life. Plus, if the teacher allowed it, then it's not technically cheating.
