Even with a modern (= european) car running on gas it's pretty hard to kill yourself this way these days, optimized carbon output and shit...

People should start to differ when talking of a "depression" because that is a serious desease and not a bad mood. It is the exact opposite of sadness, it is more like your emotions are just entirely amputated and you're just an empty hull. No puppies and no cheerful comments will change anything, when you are clinically depressed. Its not a matter of will or if you are motivated at work or school, it's rather will I end my life today or make it another one even though I don't see the point in it.
