i don't believe that was the point. people sometimes look at using the restroom as embarrassing or something you should act like you don't do in the first place. it's strange, but the whole "girls don't poop" thing you hear growing up is a perfect example of it. this is just showing that the boyfriend thinks she doesn't need to be embarrassed, and he's trying to make her more comfortable around him, or at least i think so. it's just a natural thing that everyone does.

number 4 reminds me so much of my childhood. i'd ask my dad if i could get a game and start off by saying it's $60 and he'd say no but then i'd tell him it's really only $20 and he'd think it's reasonable.
