Perhaps that's just his way of dealing with that phase of his life. Oh well.
Anyway, not all drug addicts are loaded with money. There are druggies who would stretch their empty pockets just to get their fix. I'm not saying that's ok though. It's sad, really. Maybe u should go volunteer at a rehab centre or just go there and have a peek at their 'opulent' llifestyle. To each his own.
