I get that someone used to cold won't overeact and put on a parka the fist time it goes from 60 to 50 degress. But...Part of what lets Candians survive extreme cold is not dressing like an idiot.

Countries with free college tuition make it really hard to get admitted, with most youth going to vocational schools or trade schools or even apprenticeships rather than universities. They don't have majors like African American Studies or Gender Equity Studies.

We don't need an uprising. Every two years we reelect the same bunch that always promises more goodies, when we have a chance to replace the whole House and a third of the Senate. We just need to stop doing that.

The university admissions requirements are much higher than in the US. Many many more students get put into apprenticeships and trade schools.
Also, there aren't majors in African-American (African-German?) Studies or Women's Studies or Community Victim Organization, so you have to study something that has at least *a little* benefit to society.
