Agreed. It's pretty rare for a manager to just up and fire anybody. Even if its an At-will employed state, there is still the chance the person will try to sue for some sort of discrimination. And lets be honest, the people doing that are exactly the kind of people that don't think their doing anything wrong and didn't deserve to be fired in the first place. Plus this means the manager now has to deal with the fact that they need to hire a replacement, train the replacement, and then hope they aren't an even bigger fuck up. All of which costs money and time
