Why are we assuming that the only reason people would regret not dating her is because of how she looks currently? It looks as if she has a somewhat successful career, I've never heard of her but she's living a life where she gets to do what she loves...why do we automatically jump to what she looks like? If this were a guy, would we have jumped to those same conclusions? Maybe that's what the post was trying to emphasize, but that wasn't what I took away from it.

I genuinely wonder how some people are alive long enough to be able to work or become adults. Unless you have some kind of disability from birth, you need to have very basic people skills, and even then you need to work on obtaining them. In this case, it involves knowing simply when not to speak.

Yeah, if someone is looking at you as if they plan on eating the hell out of you, you should probably run or call the cops. Then go get pizza.

That poor bird. Everyone is trying to pawn it off on someone else. Calling someone a turkey isn't exactly a compliment either.

It's not the same image on both sides though. As in it isn't a mirrored image so there just happens to be more items in the background on the left side.

Not having sex with an inebriated woman doesn't make you gay. Being gay makes you gay, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'm 26 and I have the facial hair of a 16 year old boy, so don't worry about it. Some people are different in different ways, but I'm sure it'll come. Also enjoy it whIle you can, because shaving every day is annoying, unless you'd prefer to grow a Dumbledore beard as that is apparently what's in. Either way, best of luck.

That's quite a number of times, but the issue comes when you're taught by someone and learn how to drive like a normal human being and not like the robot they test you on. Don't get me wrong, you can drive like a normal person and not be an asshat, but almost nobody drives following each and every technical rule. It isn't necessary unless you are posing a danger to yourself or anybody else...or of course breaking the law.

I was bullied quite a bit, and while I'm sure it had a negative effect, and possibly still does, it taught me to have a thicker skin, and what I have to put up with and what I don't. It taught me that I have self-worth, and that nobody can take it from me, and any attempt just proves that those people are in severe need of some for themselves. I don't approve of bullying obviously, but I think since it isn't going anywhere, we can use it to teach lessons that help shape a person and help understand valuable things about themselves. People think bullying is just something kids experience, but adults deal with it too, but we don't call adults bullies, we use slightly more profane words, usually.

Well I'm by no means a fan because I don't know of anything they actually do that I could be a fan of, but they were a lot younger and we're wearing zero make-up or very little in the first picture...so it doesn't necessarily mean they had work done, they just grew up and use a lot of make-up now. I don't follow them though so if they had surgery as well I'm unaware.

I think everyone has a different sense of what is a priority and what is not. Someone may consider shopping to be a waste of time whIle the other sees video games as a waste of time...this can really be applied to any hobby or anything really. Someone might consider napping a waste of time, while others see it as being productive because though you're losing time, you might be more efficient with the time you have if you're more alert.

This is what I meant to say, but I'm crazy smart. "Technically, the strawberry is an aggregate accessory fruit, meaning that the fleshy part is derived not from the plant's ovaries but from the receptacle that holds the ovaries. Each apparent "seed" (achene) on the outside of the fruit is actually one of the ovaries of the flower, with a seed inside it."

It isn't copying because Suicune is a water type and not an ice type Pokemon...but in a way...freezing water pushes out the impurities, while Suicune can do it without freezing...conspiracy? I think not.

I hope that one day when and if I have a child, I will have enough faith that I raised them well enough so that I can trust their judgment and not have to do this, because this seems very unpleasant for everyone involved.

Because she's a celebrity, and was one before the transition. All celebrities get this. It is ingrained into our culture. If it wasn't the transgender thing, it would be something else. It apparently sells because most of these magazines, TV shows, and other media outlets all pretty much exist because people apparently keep buying what they're selling, and it certainly isn't news. Personally I'm not interested and I agree that people should just live their lives, but clearly we are in the minority.

If you wouldn't use a woman's small chest as an insult, I don't think it is nice to use a man''s small penis. I know that isn't the point of this, but I always found that a little annoying. You should insult the choices people make or the things they can control.

I've always been under the impression 15% is standard unless your service is flat out terrible, due to the fault of the server being rude or inattentive, or you tip more if they're good. I usually only tip 15% if they weren't very good, I'll tip higher if they were. I have never not left a tip, because if someone is really terrible enough to warrant no tipping I'd speak to the manager instead. Luckily that doesn't happen often to me.

Yeah, I don't want to be that person, but using anything of mine without my permission is not alright, regardless of whether I get charged or not. If it doesn't belong to you, don't touch it. That's like someone stealing your credit card, you realize it and cancel it before anyone can use it...the thief didn't take any money from you, you weren't charged, but it is still theft. You can argue it isn't the same because the process of getting a new card can be a pain, and the physical item taken was not returned, but either way it's theft to take possession of something without permission of the owner and the person IS using their card even though there technically isn't a charge. Also, I'm pretty sure Hulu or Netflix will charge a dollar or so to the card even during the trial that it will refund to you, just to make sure the card is valid and working.

My interpretation is that everyone has something they're willing to spend money on that others will not be able to justify or understand. I feel like unless it is harmful or like the person has a serious problem that is going to cause them financial ruin...just maybe shut up and let that person be happy.

I'm really not trying to be a killjoy, but I don't understand why people can't just chill out. I don't like the idea of eating animals, and I am certainly not for cruelty when killing them, but I am not vegetarian nor vegan. I was raised doing it and I've been unsuccessful in attempting to stop, which I've tried. There is a disconnect I feel, because I could never kill an animal myself or watch one being killed and then want to eat it. Call me a hypocrite or whatever, that's fine. All that aside, my boyfriend is a vegan. He chooses not to eat animals or products made with animal content. That's his decision and I don't poke fun, question it or argue, just as he doesn't do any of that with me. I actually admire him for it simply because in regard to mainstream options, that isn't very easy. Either way, let people eat how they eat and let that be it. People don't like when you force your beliefs on others or ridicule them for their choices.

Why not rename feminism to equalism? 34 comments

This is just my own personal interpretation, and I am a male who supports equality regardless of gender, race, religion, etc...but maybe most people would be interested in a cause if they were informed about it in a respectful way, and were given the opportunity to have a reasonable and logical conversation about it. I'm not saying that anyone is guaranteed to agree, but how likely is someone to agree with or respect the opinion of some maniac angrily shouting profanity at them to get their point across? It's all around, look through the comments on this post, even. If you disagree with me, that's okay but honestly, I feel the people who are incapable of expressing themselves in a manner becoming of an important social issue, are a huge part of the problem they're attempting to combat.

I kind of get it but if you don't want a rainbow on your profile then don't do it. I'm gay and I don't care about rainbows. People are just excited, at least it was something that really affected the lives of many people in this country who weren't granted basic rights and were told their love was of a lesser caliber...as opposed to everyone posting and arguing about some ugly ass dress. I hate myself for even referencing it.

I don't agree with those who are against marriage for everyone but that doesn't make them hateful. Unfortunately, most of the time people can't state their opinions without veiled insults and using condescending statements. That is what I take issue with, and quite frankly while I don't think it is acceptable to bully someone because of their opinion, and it makes no logical sense to do so...I'm really not interested in hearing people talk about how they're being persecuted for who they are and what they believe in, because there really is no room to talk here. Someone didn't like your opinion and called you hateful, that must really be hard. Imagine having someone you love in the hospital and you weren't allowed to see them because you weren't "family." Imagine having children via a surrogate, and being told the surrogate has legal rights to your children despite no biological connection which you and your partner have, but they won't even put your names on the birth certificate.

That first guest comment had the exact opposite effect of what was intended because it just made me realize how much more I like animals more than people. I'm pretty sure that's the same person who went on some abortion rant on some other animal related post. Maybe people should spend less time acting self-important and do something about the causes they're whining about instead of you know...whining. That being said, so glad this kitty found a loving home.

I'm gay and I often will refer to something as gay when I mean lame. I also will sometimes use the word fag or faggot to describe a person I don't care for. I never mean that they're homosexual. While I'm not saying that I know better than anyone else, words only have power and mean what we want them to mean. Unless someone is calling me something with the intent to be hurtful, I really don't care what word they use.

I get customer service jobs sucks, because I've worked them, but it bugs me when I say hello or I am polite to the cashiers and they look at me like I'm speaking a language they don't understand or like. If you're getting paid the least you can do is fake a smile even for a second. I did it.
