I'm sorry, I don't follow politics all that much so forgive my ignorance, but could someone give me a somewhat unbiased opinion as to what is so terrible about Hilary? It's not exactly as clear as it is with Trump.

What about the girl who was sent home because her collarbones were showing? Most of the time the girls 'violating' the dress code are just wearing normal clothes befitting the weather. Are you saying that a girl shouldn't wear a dress or a skirt or shorts or shirts with spaghetti straps in 90+ degree weather because it 'distracting for the boys'? Bull fucking shit. Taking a girl out of school for showing her shoulders or thighs is telling her that her education isn't as important as the boys.

How I feel when someone talks about how bad gluten is 46 comments

It's not everyone is gluten allergic. My friend is glutton allergic so her entire family went gluten free to make cooking meals easier. Sometimes it's that. Then there are the people that somehow get it in their brain that gluten is bad for you and they go gluten free. Those are the people I mostly run across when they say they are gluten free.

So a guy can't look at other women? I agree, he should have some tact on their wedding day, but it really isn't all that bad.

Mine had a forbidden romance cause she was a nurse and he was a sailor and they weren't supposed to have relationships between stations... Something like that. I'm not so sure on the details.

That's because most of the time all his ideas, thought processes and plans of making said inventions never made it to paper. He liked keeping them all in his head and he never wrote it down. He was just that type of person who didn't need to write stuff down to remember or build things. But yes, it still poses a good question.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment. Yes. Gorillas and many other primates share similar traits to us. And only expecting violence from these animals is wrong. But it still is a wild animal. We can predict their behaviors but we aren't always right. So it's best to be on the defense than being utterly vulnerable.

That isn't what I said at all. I said that I understand why some people choose the vegetarian life style. But I also said that criticizing someone for their choice in food is wrong. And I mean that on both sides. I'm an avid meat eater. But I know many vegetarians. We don't bully each other into choosing a particular eating habit. It's to each their own.

That is also a fallacy. My point on ridiculing a person for dietary choices is for all sides. I'm not saying that there aren't vegetarians who don't have the 'holier than thou' complex, but the same can be said of those that eat meat. You are looking at the loud minority over the quiet majority. It's a problem for every group which is why people have such a hard time understanding each other.

You make a fair point. But by nature, humans are omnivores, eating both meat and plants. Both have vitamins that humans need to survive. And yes, you are right, there are some places that don't treat or kill their animals in humane ways. So buy food that you know how it has been treated and killed. But don't go bashing people for their dietary choices. Some people just like bacon. They shouldn't be shamed into not eating it.
P.S. That's a fallacy.
