The Loki of the real Norse mythology actually had many children, most notably including Fenrir, Hel, and Jormungandr.

Holy crap, I thought everyone had forgotten about Coraline! It made me really happy to see this. I actually just watched it yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that.

In the real story of Hercules, Hercules is the bastard son of Zeus and a woman besides Hera whose name escapes me. Because of her jealousy, Hera caused a madness to fall upon Hercules in which he killed Meg (who was his wife) and their kids. This is why he had to do all the labors - as a punishment.

@thatepicchicken yep, the bush vipers have deadly venom and will indeed kill you. Would not suggest petting it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this appears to be aloggerhead shrike. They feed on small animals by spearing them on fence posts, pointy branches, and other sharp things. It is definitely fed by anger.

I would like to point out that, while this may be pretty adorable, bird should not be allowed to hang around freely with cats. Cats harbor a bacterica that is deadly to birds and can infect them through even a tiny break in a bird's fragile skin. Even if the cat is just playing, it could potentially harm the bird in this way.
