The minimum wage isn't supposed to allow someone to have a mansion, it is supposed to allow people who can't get skilled work which includes adults with families who is in a tough situation or is uneducated to support themselves and their family. This means rent, bills, food, clothes and the other necessities. It is designed for people who can't get employed in skilled work as protection so they're not exploited for 2 cents an hour which happens in many developing (and some developed) countries

My neighbour did a similar thing, she was 10 and so excited because her parents had left her home alone and she heard someone going through the kitchen cupboard and freaked and called the cops and ran outside. The cops showed up and surrounded the house and were shouting to "come out of the house with your hands up" movie style and her 16 year old brother walks out in boxers and a hoodie like wtf and it turned out he'd been there the whole time just asleep so she didn't realise

As an Australian who reacently went to Germany a train was 3 minutes late and everyone got so p*ssed off but when I returned the first train I took was from my hometown to the city (roughly 40 mins), it was 20 mins late then went for roughly 15 mins before kicking everyone off and having it replaced by busses which still hadn't come 2 hours later when I finally managed to get a lift to come pick me up. This is not the first time this had happened and probs not the last. German trains are awesome in comparison
