Okay but...is the 5'5 person biologically male or female? What's their nationality? What's their environment like? Here in the US, 5'5 is general considered kind of short for men, but average height for women.

Frozen takes place in a FICTIONAL kingdom. It can take inspiration from real-world cultures without having to limit itself to historical accuracy. Besides, there are plenty of places where the new and old collide. Plenty of Disney films are (at least somewhat) anachronistic in style.

They're supposed to help with spiritual/mental healing. Not physical ailments. Plus, they just look pretty.

Last year around Christmas time, a lot of people in my town put up blue lights as decoration. I thought it was just some sort of holiday decor trend but maybe for some people there was more to it?

Actually, age of consent in the US can vary between around 16-18, depending on the state. However, you often need to be 18+ in order to (legally) view and buy adult products.

Relatively speaking, dogs can be among the SMARTEST animals out there. Sometimes too smart for their own good. Still love 'em tho.

I agree. As much as I love Beauty and the Beast, I do think it's a good idea to keep a film's setting in mind when judging it.

Take away the ruffle-topped boots, and the second outfit could sort-of pass as old-time sportswear.

Might also depend on how soon centaur babies can hold their own heads up, or if they'd need their mothers to support them.

I agree (though I love both cats and dogs). I think it's easy to tell one cat breed from the other, for the most part... but dogs have the potential for even greater differences in appearance between breeds.

Well, it can at least be traced back to the '70s, but it's origins go way back to ancient greece or something, so yeah...it's been around for a while.

Exactly. Like with any dog, how that dog is raised matters WAY MORE than what kind of breed it is.

Actually, judging by the costumes, architecture, etc of the film, I'd say it took place long after the dark-ages. Most-likely in the 18th century, though it could be long before or after the French Revolution, which lasted about 10 years at the end of the century.

Or you know...it might just be how the dog is raised. Aggressive and friendly dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Breeding can only tell you so much. The dog's experiences and training are where it really counts.

Honestly, I don't care if I guy wants to wear eyeliner or if a man chooses to put his hair up in a bun, but I still cringe at terms like "guyliner" and "man bun".
