I have my problem with the concept too. In primary school we had a kid who couldn't speak our language but because she was our age she was in our class. I always finished my assignments fast and when I was finished I had to teach that kid how to read. I was 8 years old and they expected me to help a child who did not speak our language. I was totally overchallenged. That was the teachers job not mine. The concept didn't help the kid and it sure as hell did not help me in any way.
