Interesting in concept- their reasoning behind the sacrifices (a swell as those they chose to place upon the alter.) in today's world- many believe, heartlessly, that those with physical or mental defect should be sacrificed for the "convenience" or "betterment" of society as a whole. Yet this culture sacrificed perfect children and kept its other gifts.
