Women v ISIS 6 comments

An honorable death is sought after by zealots. Some will jump in front of bullets in order to die honorably, but will shoot themselves before taking the bullet of a woman. It is a similar thought process to that of seppuku.

When parents force their CHOICES on their children, it's wrong. Just by mentioning how she controls the entire household it is simple to deduce that she is a sociopath. Her actions, thought out or not, are a form of both physical and mental abuse. The fact that you defend her immediately after raising concerns shows that you are experiencing symptoms similar to Stockholm syndrome.
To the people saying that the diet doesn't provide nutrients, you're also very wrong. As long as the correct quantities are consumed, beans and rice alone can make up for missing out on meat protein.

All of this "mobility issues can cause a vicious cycle" is such shit. If it were true, there wouldn't be sports for paraplegics, or a special Olympics. If you want to change yourself, you will. If you're content with blaming your medication, then you will continue to suffer and wallow in self pity.

We are equal. Not equal as in "we can do everything the exact same", but the type of equal where we both play important parts in society. Some men are more apt for the roles that have been dictated as feminine, and some women are more apt for masculine roles. Equality doesn't mean being able to do the same job, but instead that essential jobs are being done by the best person for the job; gender should be the last thing to dictate who is best for that job.

The real issue is vascular degradation. If they fix that, paired with this sleeve, we could be nearly immortal. Of course that would lead to our downfall as a civilization, pending further space exploration/colonization.

WTF? I stated facts of human migration, and I get downvoted? The this I stated are historical fact, not something that can be so easily disputed. White people come from different parts of the world, but not Africa. Light skinned Africans exist, but Caucasian people only come from specific regions of the world. Downvoting these facts will not make them less true.

It's a matter of the ability to obtain the weapons. In Canada we have more robberies with knives than guns because we can't get guns as easily. When we do have gun crimes, they are usually with the guns that we can obtain easily (long rifles and shotguns). An attack that recently happened in our capitol was committed with a semi-automatic, 8 round magazine "assault rifle". He also had pellet pistols because real ones are hard to get here. Most house raids end with the collection of shotguns, rifles, and pellet pistols.
In comparison, I could walk into a gun store in Indiana and buy just about any gun I want so long as I show proof that I am a resident of Indiana. I don't need to be a citizen, or have any background checks completed so long as I agree to only use my gun at ranges or on my property.

Police in North America kill so many people because they are trained to shoot to kill. American police do not shoot to maim, to not shoot to injure, they shoot to kill. The average person is going to shoot high on the target because most people do not actually want to harm someone else, let alone kill them. If more bullets are being fired by someone (relatively untrained) will most likely end with more casualties. If 10 people shoot at 1 person, those 10 are likely to hit a lot more than just the 1 intended target.

Also, most of the white people in Africa are not native to the region, they are descendants from European explorers. Some of these explorers were forced into slavery themselves, but most of them collected the native Africans and sold them as slaves.

As someone from the tomato capitol of Canada, I will eat them in just about any format including ketchup. Fresh ketchup is great, but the smell of dried ketchup (or ketchup chips) makes me sick to my stomach. I hate the taste and smell of yellow mustard, but dijon isn't as bad. I regularly use mustard seed and powder. Everyone has preferences, and when it's as simple as adding one of the most popular condiments on your continent to a table, it shouldn't be an issue.

It's more of a draw for the white people, and a loss for the American Natives (not Indians, those are from India). The United States gained Maine, PreCanada kept the rest of the land they were defending, most of which is still uninhabited and unprotected. Oh, and the Natives were rounded up and killed or put in "reservations".

After she ran over his foot, it was a crime scene and she fled. She should be fined, and we should hope that the fine would help her learn to not drive in an area designated for pedestrians. You are the type of person who would have walked by while Kitty Genovese was being murdered.

She knew him, but she's a judge. If she can't honestly sentence someone she has known at one point of her life, then she shouldn't be a judge. If you found your father on trial for murder, and the evidence pointed him guilty, would you sentence him to death as is ordered by law? If your answer is no, you shouldn't be a judge.

Gun Laws 2 comments

Tell me again how many guns are on the streets in countries where strict gun laws are in place. I live in Canada, I can obtain a gun licence (expensive but easy), and then buy rifles and shotguns without registration of the weapon. In most police raids in my town (Windsor, Ontario), the main guns that are found are high power pellet guns.

For someone who dislikes hate so much, you have an awful lot of it inside you concerning those who have different tastes. A large part of the reason they choose to animate these films instead of produce live action versions is because it is much easier to hide effects within a film that's entirely animated. For instance, if Frozen was live action the dog like horse would of had CGI expressions, most of Elsa's powers would have been CGI, and really everything else too. Why go through all the trouble of filming a live action movie if you still need to pay digital animators? It's easier to hope that artists will draw things more realistic, and hope that they find the best voice to fit the character.

That was the French, the UK, and the Natives against U.S.A. Canada wasn't formed until 1867. As much as we love to tout it as a our victory over our nieghbours to the south, it was our parent countries that did the fighting.
