It was good until the "whore" part. Why do misogynistic slurs have to be incorporated into this?

I'm not sure you should say "daughter." They go by "John" and I'm not sure of their pronouns, but they could very well identify as a boy.

And incredibly misogynistic. It's not as though girls are forced to compete with each other for looks and male attention all the time, of course you'd go and provoke it amongst a group of friends for shits and giggles. Damn, what is the matter with you people?

Lol, male logic: if I say I'm a girl, they'll take me more seriously! Also, let's compare women who don't want to be systematically oppressed to genocide! Let me say some sexist bullshit from the 60's then everyone will be on my side.
But what did I expect? This is 4chan. Also, did you know that entering the room last is a sign of superiority and authority and so the ideal that men should hold open doors for women was actually created as a way for men to display their dominance over women. I thought you might like some actual facts and history with all your bullshit. :3

You're comparing women to animals because they don't shave their legs? At least TRY to hide the sexism.

Different guest, but how is that bullshit? Girls are taught that we always have to say yes, so when we say "no" we have to sugarcoat it so that the guy doesn't murder us or something. That's where the whole "you're such a good friend" comes from because we can't say "I don't like you like that" because to men that's even worse and they will possibly attack us. So while "you're such a good friend" doesn't prevent all violence, it does help somewhat.
Maybe if white boys stopped murdering girls because they wouldn't have sex with them, then there would be no concept of the friend-zone (which, you're right, doesn't exist).

Oh my god, you people have no idea of how human bodies work, do you? Or the social complexities behind weight gain? It's like talking to toddlers who miraculously think they're better than fat people simply because they're fat.

Wow, racism, ableism, fatbigotry, classism all in one post. It's weird how people think it's okay to "joke" about murdering other people and somehow don't see that as incredibly fucked up.

Eh, I wouldn't mind having a Good News channel, but not fluff. That seems annoying. I think a brief video or picture that could be put with the caption "faith in humanity restored" or some such would be nice. But fluff sounds awful.

So, among a similar mindset but I just prefer Sophie Scholl's because it's so dramatic and it has more to it.

There's this one quote by Sophie Scholl that I adore and says something along these lines:
"The real damage is caused those millions who want to 'survive'. The honest men who just want to be left in peace. Those who don't want their little lives disturbed by anything bigger than themselves. Those with no sides and no causes. Those who don't take measure of their own strength, for fear of antagonizing their own weakness. Those who don't like to make waves—or enemies. Those for whom freedom, honor, truth, and principles are only in literature. Those who live small, mate small, die small. It's the reductionist approach to life: if you keep it small, you keep it under control. If you don't make any noise, the bogeyman won't find you. But it's all an illusion, because they die too, those people who roll up their spirits into tiny little balls so as to be safe. SAFE?! From what? Life is always on the edge of death. Narrow streets lead to the same place as wide avenues, and a little candle

Well, I'm not talking obese but all the Disney princesses are so skinny and too skinny (have you seen Ariel's waist?) and I think it would be better to show different body types other than the slim, hourglass figure.

Can I say something? (Well, that's rhetorical, because I'm gonna say it anyways.) I always watched Disney princesses growing up and I absolutely idolized all of the characters and yet, SOMEHOW, I turned out to be lesbian, despite all of the heterosexual couples that I loved.
So, I think it's fair to say that from my experience, gay couples on TV do not influence anyone's being gay (by the way, it's not a choice, when did you decide to be straight?). I hardly even knew what homosexuality was until I seven and when my mother described it to me, I thought it was bizarre. Not bad, but bizarre because I had never heard of such a thing.
If anything, we should expose our kids to more homosexual characters just so they know that not everyone is like them or the people around them. So that they don't expect everyone to be white, straight, and Christian because that's not how the world works. I mean, it's fine if you are, but don't discriminate just because someone isn't.

Besides, plenty of species in nature are homosexual. Humans are the only ones who criticize and have any problem whatsoever with homosexuality. That's what's not natural.

Homosexuality is natural by nature.
Anyways, if their parents are homophobic, then they're probably already berating their children on how sinful it is to be gay and, honestly, what kind of homophobic parent would even let their children watch this movie?

My mom's a teacher and you'd be surprised at how unprofessional some of her coworkers are. I mean, they're never as blatant to say "you're a disgusting little man" (or woman in my mother's case) but there's an awful lot of unnecessary drama and rudeness caused by them and they often go behind each other's backs to make everyone look bad. :P
This is why I dislike most teachers, the general population of them are just high school mean girls who've yet to grow up.

''equality'' 6 comments

Okay, look, that's not what feminists are. I mean, I know this is supposed to be a joke but I'm getting annoyed at the misrepresentation of feminism. Feminism is the top: equality for all. I mean, I'm a woman feminist and I really just want to have the same opportunities as a guy and to not be treated as a joke just because I'm a woman.
Feminism isn't bashing on men, that's sexism. Feminism isn't refusing to shave and all of us looking like deprived cavemen. I mean, if you don't want to shave, it's fine. But I, personally, embrace my femininity while advocating women's rights at the same time. I wear skirts and put on makeup because I like it, I don't refuse to wear because it differs with some shitty idealism.
True feminism is simply equality, taking away all the stereotypes bullshit of us being flannel-wearing, hairy bitches who hate men for being men. Like I said, that's sexism. Feminism is women being equal to men without being told to go back to the kitchen.
