Takes time to organize a recall election and doesn't come cheap. The best thing she can do for herself and for others is resign.

Courts have continuously ordered her to grant marriage licenses to any and all who seek one and she refused. Judge knew others would pay her legal fees and fines so she would not suffer any financial burden. Judge asked if others in her office could issue licenses without her approval and she still refused. Judge had no choice (at this moment) but to have her placed behind bars until she allows her office to issue marriage licenses with her there. She is claiming (via her lawyer) that the issued licenses on Friday are invalid. It's a shame it's come to this point. In the end, love always wins.

She's an elected official. It's not an easy thing to fire her.
