What is wrong with the post is that it falsely States how Iceland got it's name when in fact that is how Greenland got its name.

No, no. That's not entirely true, Eric the Red was exiled from Iceland after he killed some of his family according to some books while most state not the victims; oh his sailing trips during the exile was when he discovered Greenland and named it so he could lure the people in Iceland to move to a land with 'beautiful landscape and fertile green valleys.'
