nope nope nope. I tell my girlfriends i don't shave my legs...they dont care, i go to the beach with my guy friends, they see a girl who doesn't shave their armpits they all yell YUCK! GROSS! We are told constantly by men and the media (which is run by men) how to dress, look, behave, act and after years and years of this a lot of women take it on themselves. Yes some women perpetuate these stupid standards but the majority of them come from men.

White privilege means, you get benefits due to you being white, alot of those benefits are there because they came at an african american expense. White privilege means white people are still benefiting from the pain, suffering and loss of slaves, you live in a society that was built on slavery and you continue to reap the benefits....thats white privilege. Maybe their children are off the hook and damaged because their people have suffered a legacy or racism and torture. abuse takes time to heal and the abuse that was done to these people will take generation to mend, especially since there is a push to keep african american people marginalised, poor and uneducated.

So im gonna get downvoted for sure but there's still a problem with this. Even thought what their saying is all well and good the action of them disrupting and invading womens space is still happening, It may look fun but it has been proven that women's personal time and space are interrupted and disturbed 60% more than men's on a daily basis, which means we are stopped in thought, at work or just in general which leads to less productivity and participation in our own pursuits. Its the fact that women have to still give time and energy to men to listen to men for men.....it's not about us is still about them....hearing their opinions be them good or bad, were always having to be ON and have our personal space and time influenced and poked at by men. So yes it may seem i' being nit picky but it's just another progression this stereotype needs to move to, keep your opinions to yourself.....let us do our thing.....let us breath and not have to be there to listen to men all the damn time.

My friend is a wedding photographer and i sometimes help her on shoots. Iphones are a bane as everyone's taking shitty photos and when you try to just get a nice shot of the mum or dad or a group of friends all their faces are covered with their phones, they then proceed to get in front of you when you're trying to get crucial shots......its agony....

So sad about the women who had no idea how their body works. I have had so many stories from friends of how they weren't told about periods or birth control or even how babies are made and were so scared when they started to bleed. It so important for parents to educate your kids about sex and their bodies, not only does it help them but it will help when the time comes for them to have a child.

Im sure there are feminists that shave and feminist victoria secret models. The point of feminism is that you can shave or not, or wear your underwear around and angel wings or track pants and a doona and no one should give a shit. It about being able to do what you like because you chose to for you, not for a dude or because society told you you shouldn't. its about being able to be free to be you with the same rights and safety as everyone else.
