The attack on Paris is bringing new urgency to the situation in the Middle East. Of course the attack on Paris has pulled our attention. It's like someone punched our friend. The Middle East situation is like some in our home town was stabbed. It is more serious, but we (most of us) don't have the same connection.

If you are looking to gain weight, (and really only if YOU want or need to gain weight) nuts and whole oat products are a healthy way to put on weight. Many people who are thin develop high blood pressure because they can eat foods with that are high in cholesterol and saturated fat without putting on unwanted weight. So if a women in spending your money it is either because you married a gold digger, you married someone with a lower economic status or because she sacrificed her income to bear your children. Either way, she is doing it with your consent.

Black lives matter comes from a culture where we disproportionately give the death penalty and maximum sentences to black men. We literally demonstrate that black lives are less important. Did you also know women in a hospital are less likely to receive pain medication? Our culture says women are just over dramatic.
When you aren't seeing the culture of discrimination, yes that all seem ridiculous, but maybe for a moment, these slogans allowed you to see outside your own life, community and social group
