Constantly feeding a child's self esteem isn't good either. It results in little self-absorbed pricks that think the world owes them something. Trust me, my neighborhood is infested with the little participation-trophy-earning-never-been-told-no assholes.

It is a real thing. Not only do they take jobs, they drive down wages. People who actually work for a living know this too well.
