While this is, in fact, the point of the gun laws, do you think it would matter that you have a gun to fight with when the government can send unmanned drones at you, just as one example? The technology gap is so wide you're fucked in the USA if you want to revolt so there really isn't a point to the gun laws anymore.

Wrath, I agree with you but I think you're giving the OP way too much credit. There are a hundred different ways to word it if they were complaining about the system and not the people in it. This was not one of them.

You can still be patriotic and still realize that it was true.
Less so now,at least where I come from... which I only feel comfortable saying because a good portion of the textbook is basically "Look at all the shitty things Canada has done!"

You know, I used to love this website. I couldn't remember why I don't come here anymore, so I came back. Then I saw this post and these comments.
Oh yeah, that's why.

The fact that that was a question is fucked up. But I would not have the courage to write that on something my teacher would be marking.

I will third the responsible drinking thing. I was actually encouraged to drink at home at around 12 (my parents are crazy, mmk) but I had a practical lesson in why that was a bad idea (see previous brackets). I am now 19, legally allowed to drink in Canada, and have never had more than a sip of alcohol.

I actually got interested in reading in a semi-similar fashion. I saw the first harry potter movie, got sick of waiting for the second one to come out and went and hunted down the second book

1) because just because the USA is bad, doesn't make other countries not worse. If you could get from a one star hotel to a three star without breaking your bank, wouldn't you? Does that make the three star great? No, it does not.
2) Because other countries don't want people. There is an extensive screening process and it's a pain in the ass to move especially if your ideal country is say Norway.

The best way to end a jar of nutella 11 comments
guest · 9 years ago
actually, this is a terrible idea. I tried it once. The Nutella gets super hard when made cold, won't spread, won't separate and you have to scrape it in flakes out of the container. This is also incidentally why you do not put nutella in the fridge.
