I had my key battery die, on the morning of my mom's funeral , of all days. I used the key to manually open the car door. Then I popped the hood to my car opened the fuse box and pulled the fuse that went to the horn and car alarm(this location in in your manual). Now the alarm is still going off ( light blinking inside) but no sound, but you can drive the car until your able to buy a new battery. (This only works if your alarm DOESN'T have a kill switch ) this is supposibly, under the steering wheel , I way to disconnect the alarm there but I couldn't so I improvised .
