I never even really liked the song ('Clint Eastwood' by Gorillaz), nor is it a depressing song. However, I listened to it several times across the days when practically everything was going wrong (psychological problems with girlfriend, grandfather diagnosed with cancer etc.) and it just absorbed and retained all those negative vibes, hence I deleted it.
I do not mind if others play it around me (I despise this notion of "trigger warnings"; face your fears, do not censor them), but I would not listen to it on my own.
