(Different guest) Here's the thing, in a professional setting, if somebody asks for your opinion, then you're stating what you believe is the correct answer. If somebody is asking for your expertise, then you're giving them what you believe is the correct answer. Saying "I think", or "I believe" is just hedging your bets incase things go sideways. How many times have you heard people say "but that's just my opinion"? It's the cowards way out: stand by your statement or don't say it, but don't give yourself a little back door if things don't go your way.
