This would be funny if it wasn't so true. The simple fact is that since the industrial revolution we have poured carbon into our atmosphere and systematically used up pretty much all of the planets natural resources and all this in only a few hundred years whereas the planet is millions or probably billions of years old. So even if we stopped using fossil fuels right now and effectively went back to the Stone Age, it's actually too late. Think about it logically. We have done this much damage to the atmosphere in such a short period of time so we have had it. There is no hope. All this tinkering about with carbon reduction and political posturing is going to get us nowhere because it m afraid it's simply too late.
