I am a Jehovah's Witness passing by the site, and I hope it is acceptable if I offer my personal opinion: Thank you for helping correct a common misconception. :) Understandably, we might inadvertently annoy a few householders (waking them up, distracting or disturbing them etc.), but irritation and conversion have never been our goals, and I apologize wholeheartedly for any negative experiences one of you may have had. We are simply continuing what we believe to be the preaching work Jesus did and to help others grasp Bible truth (Matthew 28:18, 19). ^^ It is your choice whether you want to listen to us or not, and, though there may be one or two of us who are a little too zealous, in general we keep to ourselves and leave you alone if you are bothered.
