The point is it is better than cigarettes, since it eliminates the tar and other horrible things. Plus, as others have said you can slowly eliminate the nicotine.

Sorry, but I don't think this is funny. It's a total dick move for these guys to do this, and they are only reinforcing stereotypes in the minds of people who have those thoughts.

Not a fan of John Cena the wrestler, but huge fan of John Cena the person. He is also the person who has granted the most wishes through the Make-A-Wish foundation for sick children. He is an amazing human being.

The problem with the question is that it is impossible to know the answer. Simply being present to see it would make a change to the room. And the addition of a light source to allow vision would do the same. So by observing, you have destroyed the purity you sought to observe.

My brother's father in law has a brilliant saying. "My wife and I agreed when we were married that I would make all the major decisions, and she would make all the minor decisions. It's worked great. In 30 years we haven't had a major decision yet."

Also there is a hilarious YouTube video called The Gamers that did this in a short format, and with minimal production values. And it is brilliant.

The thing is, many people who complain about immigrants stealing jobs would never possibly demean themselves to do the jobs those immigrants do without a single complaint.

It may be even more heartbreaking, because of the scene between littlefoot and his mother as she's dying. That part is so sad. I bawl my eyes out every time.

Trigun I consider to be about equal between the two. And it isn't always a fair comparison, because sometimes a dub is inferior due to things totally out of the voice actor's control, like if the translation was poorly done, or because it was just a hack job localization in general, with censorship run amok.

I personally think that a distinction has to be made between small caliber handguns and rifles, and assault type weaponry. There is absolutely no reason for a private citizen to be able to own an AR-15, which is a civilian version of the military's M-16. However, completely banning guns will never happen in the US. It is written into the Constitution. The right to bear arms.

It shows in the films. They're pretty good, but they certainly aren't Star Trek. There is a reason I said that J.J. Abrams would be perfect for Episode 7. It's because he made two good Star Wars movies with the Star Trek films.

Being a homicide investigator has to be one of the most soul crushing professions a person could enter. Sure, you sometimes get the reward of bringing closure to a family, but it still has to be damn hard.

However, it did require some finagling to make it work. The board itself didn't work. The life jackets needed to be put under it.

In truth, the number of homosexuals was always that high. Our cultural sensibilities are simply changing, causing a higher percentage of that community to be open. It's sociological, not biological.

Things You Probably Didn't Know About Cats 15 comments

With the meowing thing: they haven't developed meowing for dealing with humans. Meowing is meant as a way for kittens to get their mother's attention. As the kittens grow, the mother eventually stops responding to the meowing, so the kittens stop meowing. However, humans continue to respond to it. So, when dealing with humans, cats meow because it is an effective way to get our attention.

They followed the Tarkin Doctrine: Rule not through force, but the fear of force. The Death Star was to be the ultimate form of the Tarkin Doctrine. "Oh, you feel that what we say is tyranny? Just a reminder that we can destroy your planet in about 5 seconds."

However, the point that was being made was that if a movie had female or minority leads that it would fail, regardless of the quality of the film. Which was disproven.

It's a matter/antimatter reaction. Since matter and antimatter cancel and eliminate one another completely, the law of conversation of energy shows that all of that mass *must* be transformed into energy. And if uncontrolled, that energy would cause a massive explosion.
