Sooo over the past few weeks I've noticed that there've been quite a few posts on fs about how poc are wrongwrongwrong and white people are rightrightright when it comes to racism. I get that you have opinions on the matter but if you can't understand where the other side is coming from, if you cannot relate because you've never personally experienced it, don't speak about it. Racism is something poc - especially black people - experience daily. Real racism. Try looking at it from the other perspective.

"they should start becoming actors and auditioning for more roles." the ignorance of this comment just illustrates the problem. There ARE black actors. They DO audition for roles. They don't get them.
Like... How is this hard to understand?
Boycotting the Oscars is not fucked up. Why are black people wrong for wanting representation?
