What an idiot to leave her gun on the back seat of the car. Handguns belong in cases, or holsters, and never where young children can easily get to them. Not to mention if storing a gun properly there wouldn't be a round chambered, and a four year-old couldn't rack the slide on a semi-auto, or probably cock a revolver.
