When will people realize that everybody in a society benefits from equality and most of all equity! It makes people smarter and richer.
We all depends on each other so much. If you really were independent, living on your own you wouldn't know comfort.
And right, equality is about giving an equal chance to everyone but we need equity. When you live in a bad neighborhood without money, in a violent environment where you can't really study there's no equality compare to someone else living in a wealthy environment, who has access to culture, a good education.
It's like two runners starting a race at the same time but on different lines: one 2 km behind the departure and the other 5 km in front.
