You know, I can state shit from Buko, like :
"It's not pretty." Charles Bukowski
and people will be like "what an empty shit, this Bukowski was barely a writer, let alone a poet", but then you discover that this sentence is the last verse of "I Met A Genius", and this very simple and short poem is one of the deepest shits you will read in your whole life :)
My point is: This sentence was taken out of context. It may or may not have been a great metaphor about philosophical shit. Not everything Bukowski wrote is drunken rant and sub-Tumblr philosofarts.

Guys, is it true? 13 comments

How is it? "Your fine is $60" has a huge impact on someone who is already nearly broke, but someone paid $40K a month does not care. "Your fine is 8% of your monthly income" has quite the same impact on everybody, preventing rich people from violating laws without a second thought AND poor people from getting in huge debt over a payday loan for a fine.

It's true. Anssi Vanjoki got a $103,000 speeding ticket for riding his bike at 75 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

I have been dishwashing, and IMO that's the most exhausting job in a restaurant with the smallest paycheck. So yeah, definitely, tips should be split in equal parts for everyone working in the facking restaurant.
Before you start looking for an answer make sure you are asking a valid question 13 comments

This universe probably has a beginning and an end, but as the Big Band theory and the Big Crunch theory are more than valid, it may be possible that the Big Bang of this universe just followed the Big Crunch of the former, and the Big Crunch that will destroy this universe will be immediately followed by the Big Bang of another universe, and so on, meaning that existence may have no beginning and no end, as the universe would just be breathing forever and all that we know of it is fitting in a single loop of an eternal cycle.

Other guest here. This stuff about "infinities bigger than others" is a mathematical fact, so you don't need "common sense" to get it, because common sense does not even apprehend what infinity is. You need mathematical logic to get it. Bad guest, bad.
