His name is Jason Carrión, he's a drag queen (stage name April Carrión) and one of the most beautiful humans in existence imo.
He might have some makeup tutorials on YouTube but if not just try looking up other drag queens, they're all pros at contouring.

I agree that that's what he meant, but I'm worried that's not what everyone will hear. My concern is that when this quote is reposted elsewhere it may become intended or interpreted as something like "LGBT people are being babies and it's their own fault when people mistreat them."
Also, generally speaking, New York is much more LGBT friendly than a hell of a lot of other places, so his experiences are by no means representative.

It doesn't matter now that the showrunners have fully confessed they're not following Martin's plan for the books anymore

It's a bit more complicated than that, because colour is sex-linked in cats. Since the gene is on the X chromosome, males only get one copy of a colour gene while females get two, so males will just be the colour of their one gene while females can be mixed. But yeah, for a female cat to be pure ginger she needs the orange gene on both her sex chromosomes

I totally agree with the message of the post, but the fact that all the "dialogue" is either the parent making a perfectly worded point or the other adults gaping while they fail to adequately respond makes me think OP is just using the strawman fallacy in story form rather than talking about something that actually happened.

Kroger's Bathroom Policy 13 comments

Given the number of U.S. states trying to pass laws that would, among other things, force trans women to use the men's bathroom and vice versa, I think stores that show this level of acceptance deserve at least some credit.

Being gay isn't a mental illness. Although it used to be seen as one, it no longer appears in the DSM because it doesn't inherently interfere with a person's ability to function and be happy, and therefore doesn't qualify as a disorder. It also can't be "treated" or "cured," and attempts to do so have officially been condemned by psychological organizations like the APA because of all the mental harm they do.
Being gay is not a choice, and it's definitely not a mental illness.

@envius great arguments/writing/tone, and thank you for actually knowing how freedom of speech and the right to peaceful manifestation work. We need more people like you in these discussions.
