I don't understand your reasoning. On the 4th of July, did you run around throwing sand in people's faces because believing it's 'natural' to celebrate the love your country is wrong because what most people think should be downplayed? We don't 'particularly need' any parades, they are for fun and claiming they exist based on what other people believe just tells me you're one the outside looking in and you don't know jack shit.
