I really think it depends upon the situation. I had a female friend whose drunk relatives beat her up and forced her to drink alcohol; she now has some sort of fear about it. Whenever she sees that her other friends want to drink she says that she'll just mind her own business when in reality she's scared. I'm the only one who knows and I tell her that I don't need alcohol because I'm already having fun being with her.

Dammit! Why do I still love her!??! T^T
