When I read about women not wanting to have to sign up for the draft 13 comments

As a woman, I would be fine with having to sign up for the draft. That truly is equality. Are all people (women included) cut out for the service? No. Should we ever find ourselves in a situation where a draft is required? I hope and pray not. But women and men should be considered equally. At the same time, we can't have the vast majority of a country's generation sent out to war at once. I heard an argument that someone, women in this case, have to run the household and live proudly in their country while the fight rages on, but I think that both males and females should be able to serve or stay, that it shouldn't be tied to gender.

I do that with English, Spanish, Japanese, and occasionally even in Sign Language (can think of the sign before the word).

Nobody is teaching this generation (my generation) how to get jobs, or what skills to develop, or many relevant life skills at all. If anyone has tips, please don't hesitate to give them!

As a Girl Scout all my life, while this may be true, they also use it as a way to teach girls productive skills such as marketing, manners, budgeting, responsibility, etc. So it has many purposes. One of the worst things about it though is that the little scouts selling the cookies only make a small fraction of what they are sold for, meaning that the entire troop has to sell a mountain of them to actually be able to raise enough money to do something as a troop.

I would choose the controller and then look at a clock. I could go forward or backward that way, in theory.
