Yeah, I figured some of them probably died. I just wish they did a better job of cropping them out. Usually accidents that involve animals don't turn out too well. This is actually a really great outcome. I was in training for an animal response team (college got in the way) and I heard a story about an accident involving a truck full of pigs. They had to euthanize all the pigs because there was too many to transport and the slaughterhouse wouldn't take them and a lot of them were severely injured. Luckily animal truck accidents don't happen too frequently. There's one every few years where I live and that's only because there are so many farms. It looks like most of the chicks were saved and probably became pets or egg chickens.
