Ahh, but you see, in effect, the armours still seems to function the just as well as each other. This would mean that the female starts with a default high "luck" skill to make the armour effective. This comes with the side benefit to it starting so high that as soon as you start the game, the final boss accidentally trips and falls into his pit of lava / off his mountain / into his beast cage / etc causing you to win almost immediately thanks to your amazing luck.
