This needs to be offered more to students. I am american and did bith my bachelors and masters in Germany in finance and am very satisfied with the level of education here. A couple of points: 1) learning the language is only necessary to live and maybe work here, but you can study completely in English and even find work at American companies, plus learning another language is a plus in my opinion. 2) while it's true that American univerisities top world rankings, this includes only the ivy leagues, and I think most of us conseridering this option don't have the lucurt of going there. From my own experience, the university level in Germany is much higher than 90% of state uni's in the US. Don't get me wrong, the research funding and resources in the US are fantastic, but you will have a lot of debt when you're done. As for me, I already have a job offer from a bulge bracket US bank and have $0 in student loan debt. Think it over guys.
