Dude I know it's supposed to be a joke but Jesus fucking Christ, must you make everything a gender thing? It was the belief of the whole tribe that Maui fucked up by stealing the heart, the legends about him simply changed in those many years of being passed on and the "created basically everything" part somehow got lost.

Since when do people actually post serious stuff on Twitter? C'mon, it's fucking Twitter, you can't have a serious conversation/idea with its crappy character limit.

Pfft, fucking scrubs. Doctor Who is one of the best series out there, and probably the best sci-fi series (because Firefly was so short lived), I can't believe anyone would ever ever call it cringe. Smith was great and even Capaldi was pretty good, despite the ratings. But maybe I'm biased because I love every episode with River Song in it and the two had a very good one. I think that the actor really doesn't matter as long as there's Moffat's writing. Even the outrage about the female Doctor is dumb because it was established that a gender change is canonically possible in like a 2011 episode, way back before people started bitching about "the PC culture". Rant over.
Oh and the word is "regenerated".

As a centrist, thank you for this post. Both left leaning and right leaning people often shit on centrists for always being in the middle or "always making compromises", but really I just don't want to join either of their cults and I just have moderate opinions.

Idk I always imagined him as Jamie Campbell Bower, the way he looked in Sweeney Todd. And The Picture of Dorian Gray is probably not for everyone but I enjoyed it a lot.

What a good movie. Not great, but good. The only thing that made me a bit mad was the fact that Dorian Gray had black hair and beard. That's not how he was described in the book at all.

Yeah, who cares really, I just don't like it when people make judgements based on almost nothing.

Your "gathered knowledge" of me is you judging by two comments. Sounds like you like jumping to conclusions more than a gold digger likes jumping onto an old rich dude's dick, but of course I won't make the same mistake and judge you by one comment.

Yeah it seemed weird that they'd be scared of blood since they were warriors and such. Anyway women staying at home and taking care of the house used to be the norm so I think laundry has more to do with traditional gender roles than periods. Because if "cleaning up after yourself" was the deal, then women would only do their own laundry, not men's as well. But what do I know.

1) That's adorable.
2) The colour a person is "feeling" at a particular moment often reflects their mental state at that moment, so the friend can quite accurately guess how she's feeling by what color she prefers at that moment. It's not only a super nice thing to do but also very smart.

Human life isn't worth much, just look at the US, they're sending teens to war as if they were Halloween candy that you just toss around to different kids' baskets aka different wars.

In this situation, probably nobody but I think everyone should learn to park within the lines, so that they are accurate enough when they arrive at a parking lot that isn't empty. Also I know this doesn't happen very often but what if you arrived at an empty parking lot, parked like this guy, and then many more people would come to the lot? Then you'd just seem like a douchebag.
An advice my driver's ed teacher gave me: follow the rules perfectly, even if there's nobody around (he was talking about staying within the lines, using turn signals and so on). If you don't, you might start forgetting to do it altogether.

As you can see, the parking lot is completely empty. He could've literally parked two meters away on a spot where there isn't a tree.

And my personal mantra for argumentation: Personal experience is NOT evidence. (Present it if you want but only as an example to go along with actual proof, because personal experience differs from person to person and therefor cannot be counted as actual evidence.)
But I'm curious, what do you think is the biggest problem?

I think not having facts is a pretty big problem (but those facts have to come from reliable sources, saying you have facts and then presenting an anonymous post from /pol does not count as actual facts), but in my opinion the biggest problem is not being able to change your opinion based on newly discovered facts and different points of view. Some people see statistics and facts that prove them wrong and still are too stubborn to accept them. But again, one study isn't enough evidence (case in point, that one fabricated study about vaccines that all the anti-vacs build their arguments on), maybe there are 1000 other studies that conclude the opposite, which is why it's important to look at multiple sources and from multiple angles.

That's still more than a waist height. This is obviously about kids, some people just like to use every opportunity to bash on feminism. And don't get me wrong, I'm not a feminist, but this senseless bashing on things that aren't even related just because it fits your agenda is dumb and soooo predictable.

I can kind of believe it up until the point where she starts lecturing the principal. (Anyone else annoyed by the author's terrible spelling of the word?) From there it just becomes an overly exaggerated mess. Especially the clapping.
In terms of the overall topic of the post? I think the feminists are going too far by saying that catcalling counts as rape. Catcalling is annoying but it's far from actual rape, and by counting it in they're discrediting and silencing actual rape victims. However, I think the guy should've expected it. I'm not saying he deserved it, but he should've expected it. See, being a woman basically means that you live with the knowledge that almost any man could overpower you at any given moment, if he wanted to. This knowledge makes us… a little jumpy at times, and someone using physical force,in which they have a clear advantage, on us may result in a spontaneuous reaction. Even more so if she's already experienced some form of harrassment or sexual assault.

Ohhh isn't this the internet experiment? I think that there was an experiment in some remote place with a shit connection, they tried to send data via the internet and they also sent a pigeon to see who would be faster. The pigeon won.
