-Special- yes you are special. Not by virtue of being but for your potential to better yourself and the world.
-trying- trying doesn't make you a star. Trying and failing are part of succeeding. You should be encouraged to try, to get up and keep making an effort to grow; but without honest effort and purpose trying by itself benefits no one.
- accepting your self- being ok with who you are right now and accepting your faults doesn't mean you are a failure or are beating yourself up. It also doesn't mean you are done growing. You accept who you are in the moment, but are alright with that because in time you are working and planning to be who you want to become.
Society can be harsh. We are all part of society and can change it to be softer. As long as one person is left from a harsher generation you hurt your children by not teaching them that while they create a better world not everyone will think like them and they need to be ready for those challenges.
