Just because you are offended doesn't mean you are right - coming from a sign that says Indian hills with cutesy lil feathers that is most likely not a community center owned my native Americans is like the most ridiculous thing ever, look at us we are using the Native aesthetic while simultaneously ignoring their history of being mistreated and outright massacred by Americans but we r mad that people aren't completely peachy about that sort of thing

Yes, but these aren't specifically white. They are Italian or French or American. The concept of the white person was created by rich formly European Americans to unite poor white Americans against poor black people bc often their struggles were similar and the rich didn't want that to occur, so they created this concept of a white person just to ostracize further black and brown people. No on has ever said Italian or French or English culture doesn't actually exist. But being proud of white culture( a term created solely to separate black people from Europeans) is kind of ridiculous since it is solely racism that built that concept. Black culture is different bc it refers to the culture former African slaves had to create when they were taken to America and forced to destroy all remnants of their previous culture. European immigrants didn't have to do that and thus retained some of their previous culture, unlike black Americans who had to almost entirely create a different one
