It is actually experienced when flying late afternoons / evening in the lower attitudes ( about 1000 - 3000 ft) attitudes that it is hotter due to the warm air rising. On the surface ( in winter time) it could be 15 degrees C, but in the air it is 35 degrees C.

i always thought a neat way for them to end the series would be:
Dinosaurs are set loose on the world. Time travel. They round up all the dinos and take them back in time to when the dinos actually lived. When they get there, they see no signs of living dinosaurs, or dinosaurs at all.
