Speak for yourself. I like American history. If a nation forgets the mistakes made in history, then they will repeat them. (The Germans did not heed the French incursion of Russia and suffered a similar fate.) The problem occurs when inaccuracies exist as is the case of this article. I would be embarrassed to write it, given the inaccuracies. LBJ does not have a name of Andrew. Lincoln's secretaries were John Hay and John G. Nicolay, not Kennedy. In studying history, this is all a coincidence that can be compared to other historic figures who don't even share the same country of origin.

A few of the items are simply untrue; there is no record to show that Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy; Lincoln's secretaries were John Hay and John G. Nicolay.

Calling him Andrew, if this can be proven to be his nickname, would be an inappropriate and disrespectful way to address a U.S. president.
