It prevents ISP's from creating their dream monopoly and being able to dictate internet costs and bills by preventing you from accessing certain parts of it unless you pay up to 5x the cost to visit/access sites like Netflix, YouTube, Twitter, like in many parts of the world where they don't have Net Neutrality. Considering some of these services also supply cable for television, it would make it impossible for competition mediawise to happen. If Net Neutrality is dissolved, it would lift any sort of repercussion for controlling, monopolizing, and exploitative behavior from corporations and companies who supply the internet.
