True, there were soldiers there that would have killed Kevin Carter if he so much as touched the girl, but this wasn't a case of seeing then shooting. Kevin Carter spent hours just waiting and watching as the small child struggled until the shot was just right. He WAS a sick bastard.

It's on a worksheet. Most likely the eye is printed and the assignment is to finish the face or at least match the eye. The eye does seem to be copy-pasted from somewhere else, just look at the shading next to the inner eye.
