That "gender-repressive religion" gave women equal rights 1400 years ago when the rest of the world was treating them like slaves. Just because most "islamic" countries are not implementing the teachings of the religion does not mean that the religion itself is gender-repressive.

My french teacher in high school literally moved me in a circle around the entire class hoping that she'd sit me next to someone who i didn't talk to. I can start up a conversation with literally anyone about anything so her plan just flopped and then she just let me sit wherever I wanted.

No, that's serendipity. Sephora is a reddish-brown colour associated particularly with monochrome photographs of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The country is Qatar and they basically lure working men from all over Asia and the Middle East with the promise of a stable and financially prosperous job and then take their passports and all official documents from them. They force them to work and do not allow them to contact their friends and family.
