I'm a night shift nurse and it definitely gets crazy. I was told in report oh this patient is great. The lies! He sundowned super bad. Sundowing is basically when older patients because super confused and crazy at night and don't sleep and don't know what's going on despite you reorientating them. This man called another floor, trying to call the cops and told them that he was being held hostage by colored people and needed help immediately. (Yes I am black btw)
